Eco Tip:
How you drive will save you money.

Take your foot off the gas.  If you don't jack rabbit from a dead start, you'll improve your
gas mileage.  Gas/brake, gas/brake is a sure fire way to lower your mpg's and visit the gas
station more often.  On the freeway, keep at 65 or a few miles under.  You may  get to
where you're going a few minutes later, but you'll be able to afford more of what you
need when you get there.

Properly inflated tires add as much as 3 of miles per gallon.

Eco Tip:  Gift Wrapping Paper.

Everybody likes opening a present.  It's fun.  Kids tear open the paper, discard it without
notice, and move on to demolishing the box to get to the toy inside.  If the toy happens
to be a shirt or pajamas, they quickly move on to the next present, ravage that paper,
and the process continues until every present is open and the living room's a mess.

There's usually a parent assigned to writing down who gave what, and other parents have
the job of balling up all the discarded very expensive wrapping paper and shoving it into
a plastic bag and hauling it out to the garbage cans.

The garbage truck comes and takes the wrapping paper and boxes and all of it ends up in
a landfill somewhere.  Just think of all the time and money wasted on wrapping paper.

Being green with your wrapping paper is easy.  Use recycled wrapping paper.  No, don't
waste your money buying expensive recycled paper.  Just recycle your own.

Pick through some of the colorful junk mail mail delivered to your box every week, or
save some of the gift wrapping paper you were given and  write "
it's everybody's job to
be green
" on the paper in big beautiful green block letters.
